Over the year, cases of the COVID-19 pandemic rose to hundreds of millions worldwide, and the number of deaths also increased. The coronavirus pandemic has undoubtedly hit the world hard, impacting many businesses and communities with several consequences and challenges they are continuously facing due to measures implemented to prevent the spread of the virus.

A year of the virus threatening the health and well-being of everyone on the planet has everyone wishing to end the current pandemic. However, when exactly will it end? When will it be safe to go to the supermarket or travel without worrying about safety? Such questions cannot be answered when considering the latest situation, including the new wave of cases and lockdowns.

While there are still uncertainties as to when the virus will be eliminated, there are strategies that people can do to ensure that the pandemic will end soon. It will include the efforts of all individuals and communities to help flatten the epidemic curve.

Part of this effort is to get a Covid-19 test. Testing plays a significant role in containing and mitigating the virus. It allows individuals to receive immediate care if the test returned positive and protect those around from acquiring the virus.

Airlines are committed to preventing the spread of the virus via air by requiring travelers to get a fit to fly covid test, as proof that they are not infected.

There are two diagnostic tests that people can take: an antigen test and pcr test. While the former is commonly used for screening many people, the latter is what most airlines prefer for travel purposes as it can produce more accurate results. Moreover, most countries only allow travelers from abroad that have a negative fit to fly covid test from a PCR test.

Aside from testing, following health guidelines and other measures are also helpful in preventing the virus’s further spread.
